if dcs places a child with her maternal aunt because of the mothers drug use and the father is out of the picture and had been for several months,then a month after removal father gets paperwork and wants the girl because he does not want to have to pay child support,has already abandoned his son,dcs recommends that he get custody only because he is her biological father.mother gets a court appointed lawyer what are the next steps to keep this devastating situation from happening? please be serious and considerate when answering this is a heart-breaking problem
