Christian Based Drug Rehabs in Texas?
Question by eko: Christian based drug rehabs in Texas?
I am looking for a christian based drug rehab in Texas for my brother who has finally decided to turn a new leaf. Since we won;t be able to afford to pay for it I was wondering if there is any kind of rehab that would take him in for free and make him work there to make up for it. Any kind of information would be greatly appreciated. Other states will also do. I need this info really bad before its too late to save my brother. Thanks

It has got so bad that I got fired from my job from being caught playing WoW there. I also have be flunking out of classes in college, and now I’m in debt, and have to take 4 classes over again to even get to my sophmore year. Still I play WoW, after all these events happen I need to play more than ever! It’s the only thing that makes me feel happy now, and all these things made me depressed so it’s harder than ever to go back to not play it

Can I Kick a Lortab Addiction Using Suboxone in Just 2 Weeks?
Question by kizzzy73: Can I kick a lortab addiction using Suboxone in just 2 weeks?
I am addicted to hydrocodone/oxycodone. This all began because I had back pain and a friend gave me a lortab. Over time the same amount of hydrocodone didn’t help so I would take more. I needed more and more and eventually my friend could no longer supply me. I had an MRI done and it came back clear so I could not get my own prescription. I now buy them illegally. I take lortab or percecet. I take no less than 10 pills per day and have taken up to 25 in a 24 hour period.
I managed to keep my addiction from my family until recently when I decided to tell my husband. This is not the life I want and I know I need help. He has been more supportive than I could have ever imagined and says he will help me do whatever it takes to get me off of this stuff. I feel like I have been living a double life. I’m so tired of needing to take a pill everyday to feel normal. I’m also sick of the life I’m living to get them. The daily hunt for pills, the money I have spent, and most of all… the embarrassment I feel for lying to my family and for letting it get this far. I contacted a rehab clinic yesterday and I am scheduled to begin suboxone next week. I do not want to substitute one addiction for another. I would like to take the suboxone for just 2 weeks, just long enough to get through the withdrawals. Am I thinking realistic or is that just not feasible? Is 2 weeks enough time am I then going to be addicted to this new drug? I would appreciate any advice.
This has been going on for about a year and a half.
