Question by Melissa: I believe my ex-husband is using again and my 15 daughter spends weekends with him. What to do?
How can I legally go about doing something about this. I do not want my daughter going back because I fear for her. He lives with his parents. She found some pills in his room that turned out to be Methadone. He has a past of drug abuse but was supposedly clean for about 4 years.

I live in Tennessee if that makes a difference.

I always thought that unless you had severe chronic pain, you had to get Methadone at a Methadone Clinic.

As him about it. Isn’t methadone something they use for addicts to kick drugs? Let him know that if he’s using again your daughter isn’t coming to visit. She’s old enough to make the decision if she goes or not.

Ok, I looked it up – yes methadone is something they use for addicts to kick their drug habits. I would ask him about it, and not just jump to conclusions.
