1st DUI in Kentucky, 2nd DUI in Tennessee. Confused?

Question by J: 1st DUI in Kentucky, 2nd DUI in Tennessee. Confused?
I had my first DUI in the state of Kentucky in 2010. Now this past week, I was arrested in Tennessee for a DUI. I was given a blood test. I know there is a controlled substance in my system which I do not have a prescription for. An empty pipe was also found in my console, which I’m being charged with paraphenalia. Will I have to suffer the penalties of Kentucky 2nd DUI or Tennessee 1st DUI, since it was in a different state? Also, how will the presence of a schedule IV controlled substance (clonazepam, Klonopin) in my system affect this? And what are the penalties? I have a full time job and no other way to get back and forth to work and pay my fines without a liscence.

I’m afraid that getting “to & from work” may no longer be an issue for you…DUI is a violation of Federal laws
